The gorgeous 😍 pin featured above is from the lovely Icey Designs and is (I believe) a limited edition design so my fellow Caraval lovers, GET ON THAT!
Ugh, I just LOVE enamel pins! Do y'all collect them? Have a fave?
My favourite childhood book! I was completely memerised by the magic and stunned by the plot twists. I remember loving it, raving about it, recommending it and writing about it in ‘my favourite book’ homework as a small reader ;).

Let’s not ignore the issue: we have a problem with consumerism here on booklr (and on bookstagram, and on booktube). There’s an element of always wanting the newest releases, wanting the hardcover collectors edition, wanting the fan merch to go along with your favourite books.
This is all fine but I’m here to tell you:
You are no less a legitimate ‘book addict’ if you don’t have this stuff.
You don’t need to buy all most beautiful covers if you can afford to.
You shouldn’t feel bad if you can’t keep up with new releases.
You definitely shouldn’t ever feel bad for using library books for photography (keeping libraries alive is a very noble cause!!)
You shouldn’t feel bad if your books are tattered and well loved.
Do reading your way, and don’t let anyone else tell you how to keep your books, or make you feel inferior for not having stuff, because stuff isn’t what this is all about- sharing a love of reading is.

Right from the start of 2018, when I first wrote this list of my most anticipated books, that the majority of them are coming out in the second half of this year- so I’ve compiled this list of my most anticipated books that come out in the remainder of this year, and hopefully I’ll actually have some time to read them this time.
Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare
Probably my most anticipated book of 2018- Queen of Air and Darkness is the third and final book in the Dark Artifices series by Cassandra Clare. I’ve absolutely loved the story arc of this series so far, it’s been so different from the previous Shadowhunter chronicle series and also a lot darker. Things seem to have been set up right from the beginning for this story to end badly, so I can’t wait to see how it does all end.
Winter is the last book in the Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer which follows all the characters we have come to love through the series and Winter, based on Snow White. And it kicked ass. This book just made me insanely happy, I...
